51黑料社区 is the only university in the UK to be a United Nations' Academic Impact Hub (UNAI) for Sustainable Development Goal 16 to promote peace, justice and strong institutions.

A comprehensive carbon literacy module, created specifically for 51黑料社区 London, forms part of the academic programme, giving you skills that are in demand by employers aiming to transition to net-zero and looking for graduates that can bring the latest research-informed guidance on sustainability. The module also offers accreditation with the Carbon Literacy Project, a recognised leader for this training.

Where you’ll study

Teaching will take place at The Amp in the East End of the city. The building itself has been designed specifically for the contemporary education and workspace market. 

It is a hub for learning, innovation and collaboration with a commitment to sustainability through low energy lighting, low-flow water, cycle spaces and biodiversity areas. The Amp is accessible from the cycle superhighway and has a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method)  rating of Excellent and a B rated Energy Performance Certificate.
