Personal profile

Dr. Muhammad Kazim is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Cyber Security at 51ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. His research interests focus on cloud computing security, edge computing, internet of things security and AI. Dr. Kazim received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Derby, UK with a focus on cloud computing security. 

Prior to this role, Dr. Kazim worked as a KTP Research Software Engineer at the University of Derby on an industrial project that focused on the research and development of an automated pipeline for the visualization of real time geometry data in virtual reality systems. Dr. Kazim has worked at various academic roles at University of Derby which include working as an Associate Academic to develop and deliver content for e-learners. As a Post-Graduate Teaching Assistant at University of Derby, he worked on developing and delivering guest lectures, tutorials, and marking assessments of Masters and Undergraduate level modules.

Dr. Kazim has organised and participated in many international conferences and workshops. He acts as a reviewer for high reputed journals including IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Access, Springer AI and Society Journal and IEEE/ACM International Conference on Big Data Computing, Applications and Technologies.
